About the role
***This position requires 90% travel across the U.S., primarily by plane. Expect to be away 4-5 days per week, including some weekends. Site visits typically begin after clinics close (around 4-5 PM) and may involve overnight work, depending on the issue. While travel will make up the majority of your time, hands-on work will be required as needed***
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive customer-focused field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-class service to our customers.
Candidates will be ideally located in or near Atlanta
Key responsibilities will include
- Hardware installation of VisionRT product range – pull cables, mount cameras to ceiling, install monitors and workstations
- Hardware de-installation of VisionRT product range
- Perform site surveys ensuring all aspects of installation requirements are met in line with Vision RT processes and procedures
- Provide planned maintenance support
Essential Skills & Experience
- Highly motivated customer-focused technician with excellent customer-facing skills
- Results orientated with a “Can Do” attitude and clear enthusiasm for excelling in customer satisfaction
- Ability to drill and mount, mechanical bracketry in raised ceilings
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings and architects’ drawings
- Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends
- Microsoft Windows (user level)
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent military education with at least 2 years of experience servicing hardware and electronic equipment, a High School Diploma/GED and 5 or more years of experience servicing hardware or medical devices is also acceptable
- Experience supporting external and internal customers in the Field Service Engineers' territory
- Extensive domestic travel up to 90%
