What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trip Driver - Part Time position at Vision Transportation?
Vision Transportation is a family owned and operated company who believes in a fun, friendly work environment. We proudly support communities in the following school districts: ISD 727, ISD 728, and ISD 885. Work out of one of our offices located in either Big Lake, Elk River, Rogers, Zimmerman, or St. Michael-Albertville. We are currently looking for part-time Trip Drivers to join our team!
No experience necessary! We offer paid training at $23 an hour and support you through the entire process to get your class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements.
Driving sports teams to events and transporting excited kids on their field trips is a great way to earn $25.50 an hour while supporting your community. Vision is looking for flexible drivers who are available for school bus trips during one or more of these times:
· Morning trips leaving around 6am–8am
· Afternoon trips leaving around 2pm–4:15pm.
· Some weekends
Hours range from 5–30 hours a week depending on your availability. If you are looking for a set schedule, consider becoming a school bus route driver. Routes offer a consistent shift Monday through Friday during the day.
We offer competitive pay rates and part-time employee supplemental healthcare coverage plans along with 401k employer matching after 6 months of active employment.
Already fully licensed school bus drivers will receive a $1,500 bonus, plus an additional $250 bonus if you have the airbrake endorsement!
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- A valid MN driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug test, physical and background screening
- Professional level English fluency
