About the Position:
Visión y Compromiso seeks a bilingual (English/Spanish) Project Coordinator to oversee our CalAIM Program. This role manages Promotoras/Community Health Workers and their work plans, ensuring program success in delivering healthcare services to Latino communities.
Location & Travel:
- Remote position (work from home)
- 20% travel within assigned region required
- Must have reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage Promotoras/Community Health Workers
- Oversee program implementation and ensure contract compliance
- Review and approve daily service reports and billing claims
- Manage team schedules, training, and resource distribution
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation
- Represent VyC at stakeholder meetings and community events
- Support trauma-informed care practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Public Health, Sociology, or related field OR 4 years equivalent experience
- 5 years experience working with Latino communities in mental health/social services
- Experience in healthcare/community services
- 3 years supervisory experience
- Fluent bilingual English/Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) required
- Strong understanding of Promotora Model and health equity
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and social media platforms
- Valid driver's license and insurance (if driving)
