Requirements for the Position:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting tasks related to key areas, including legal entity consolidations, investments, stock-based compensation, equity, impairment assessments, earnings per share, debt, and other assigned areas.
- Conduct accounting and regulatory research as needed to ensure compliance with current Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) regulations and accounting standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual report on Form 10-K, quarterly reports on Form 10-Q, and other SEC reports and requirements.
- Oversee the administration of the company's various impairment assessments as assigned.
- Interact with external audit partners and managers on various technical issues that arise during audits.
- Ensure the adequacy of documentation, review internal controls, and maintain compliance for all related processes.
- Participate in other processes to ensure proper disclosure of all material items in the company's SEC reports.
- Lead and develop the team through discussions, analysis, and training sessions.
- Engage in ancillary and statutory audits as needed.
- Perform account reconciliation oversight reviews for all general ledger accounts under your responsibility.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include:
- Attending team meetings, phone conferences, and training as required.
- Understanding and adhering to teammate guidelines, employment policies, and departmental or company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in public accounting or 5-6 years of relevant experience at a publicly traded company is necessary.
- A strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP is essential.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience in leading, training, and developing teams is required.
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel are needed; intermediate skills in MS Word and Outlook are also required; familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, or other database accounting systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Workiva is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.
