SAP Project Manager
Overview
The SAP Project Manager will lead and manage the successful execution of transformational Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and various SAP projects, ensuring the delivery of business value. This role will collaborate with key IT and business stakeholders on execution strategies and will exemplify a passion for delivering results and process excellence. The successful candidate will possess exceptional professional and interpersonal agility, along with a deep understanding of program and project management methodologies and change management concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and business needs.
- Implementation and Configuration: Oversee the implementation and configuration of SAP modules and processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including the CIO and IT/Business leadership.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and Analytical Skills: Employ strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Leadership and Team Management Skills: Effectively lead and manage project teams.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to project team members.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that SAP solutions meet organizational quality and functionality requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of SAP systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong SAP Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of experience implementing SAP and IBP projects.
- Project Management Methodologies: At least 10 years of program and project management experience, including large-scale, complex projects, with proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Industry Knowledge: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT sector of manufacturing companies.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, computer science, or a related discipline is required.
