Workday HCM Support Specialist
We are looking for experienced Workday HCM Support Specialists to join our Tier 2 HR Application Support team. This team is essential in troubleshooting and resolving Workday-related issues while also focusing on a more strategic, product management-oriented roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 support for Workday Core HCM, including troubleshooting business processes, correcting transactions, setting up supervisory organizations, and assigning security roles.
- Manage and resolve a high volume of ServiceNow tickets, ensuring timely responses and escalations as necessary.
- Analyze and clarify user requests to identify whether they are security-related, reporting-based, or require other types of intervention.
- Provide support for Payroll and Time Tracking, ensuring that urgent payroll-related issues are resolved promptly.
- Assist with Workday Security, including domain security modifications, role assignments, and testing configurations in non-production environments.
- Collaborate with HR and business teams to understand their needs and implement appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to process documentation to enhance the team's operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Workday Core HCM, including knowledge of business processes and troubleshooting transactional issues.
- Experience across multiple Workday modules, particularly Payroll, Time Tracking, and Security.
- Ability to think critically to uncover the true needs behind user requests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience supporting HR and business users.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a high ticket volume environment.
- Prior experience with Workday security configurations is a plus.
- Experience in process documentation is highly desirable.
