Overview:
We are seeking a Solution Architect/Systems Analyst to join the Workday HR/Finance Tech Team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience with Workday implementation or support and possess a strong understanding of the Workday platform. Key areas of expertise include configuring and supporting modules such as HCM, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent, Onboarding, Payroll, Financial Accounting, Budgeting, Procurement, Expense Management, Business Assets, Customer Accounts, Banking and Settlement, Accounts Payable, Integrations, Report Writing, and Prism.
Contractor’s Role:
The consultant will take on a technology-focused role to implement the aforementioned Workday modules. Responsibilities include reviewing the current SAP business processes and configurations within the Foundation tenant, as well as understanding desired changes for both implementation and the future state. The consultant will provide solutions and best practices while assisting in the configuration and implementation of these solutions. Additionally, they will support testing, the development of a training plan, a Change Management plan, the creation and implementation of custom reports, the launch of the Production Support model, and may lead efforts related to data conversion and data warehousing. They will offer both functional and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, covering design, impact analysis, configuration, security, testing, and implementation.
Qualifications (Must Have):
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience as a Workday HCM/Finance solution architect with a record of implementing or supporting multiple Workday modules
- Additional experience in supporting or implementing US Payroll
- Proficient in testing and troubleshooting integration issues and defining requirements for new integrations
- Experience with data loading using Workday EIBs
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Excellent consulting and communication abilities to collaborate with HR/Finance leaders and partners, prioritize work, and offer solutions
- Capability to work effectively with business subject matter experts and technical resources to deliver tasks on time according to project schedules
- Knowledge of system capabilities acquired through formal training or experience, allowing for the assessment of automation and configuration possibilities
- Strong organizational skills to develop and monitor project plans, as well as manage time and balance competing priorities effectively
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Experience in creating and managing training and change management plans
