What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workday Integrator position at Vision?
Clients have recently completed the consolidation of their Workday systems in North America (NA) and Europe (EU) and are now moving forward with their Dayforce implementation. They are transitioning their workforce management platform from UKG, which will no longer be supported after December, to Dayforce. Dayforce will serve as the system integrator (SI) for this project.
This initiative is expected to take 3–5 years, starting with North America (US and Canada). The project encompasses payroll, schedules, and time and absence management for three locations currently using UKG.
The clients require an integration resource who can develop integrations for both the US and Canada. Payroll processing is done within Workday, so they cannot send a payroll change (PC) file to Dayforce and will need to create flat files instead.
The ideal candidate should have a background in the integration studio and possess strong technical experience. They must understand the relevant data and be able to communicate data points effectively with non-technical HR members, using industry-specific payroll terminology. This person should also be capable of providing knowledge transfer (KT) to internal resources and offering ongoing support afterward. Strong communication with all parties involved, including the technical team at Dayforce, will be essential.
