Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Regional Account Manager - FL. The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the Florida region, developing strategic sales plans, and maintaining customer relationships. They will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets. As a Regional Account Manager, you will have a passion for audio visual technology and drive business in the Florida region.
Qualifications
- Sales, Account Management, and Relationship Management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Experience in the audio, video, lighting, and/or control products industry
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Willing to travel 50%
- Willing to work from a home office in the Florida region when not traveling
- Participation at regional and industry trade shows (InfoComm, NAMM, NAB etc.) as needed
Support the Existing Dealer Base
- Consistent contact - by phone, email and in person
- Staying informed of the dealer’s current projects, tours, potential targets, key clients, etc.
- Assisting and supporting project design, quoting, etc.
- Aid in technical support or help directing them to technical support from the manufacturer
- Educate dealers of current and new products that compliment their line of business and the vertical markets they service
- Demo current and new technology individually or in an ecosystem of other products to show the dealers real-world scenarios of how the gear can and would be used
- Presentation and training of hardware and software solutions as well as present dealer programs
- Ensure that the dealers are set up with proper programs and incentives to help them to be rewarded for growing their business
- Ensure dealers are aware of current promotions, incentives, sales, etc.
- Ensure that dealers stay trained on the proper use and programming of products
Cultivating New Dealers and End Users
- Seek out and find new qualified dealers in production, systems integration, retail and lighting
- Work with newer companies to help center their business around the Vision2 portfolio of brands
- Connect and network with venues that are in need of audio, video, lighting or control equipment and connect them with qualified dealers who can service their needs
- Develop opportunities with end users to push to the dealer channel
Responsibilities to Vision2
- Enter all quotes and projects into CRM systems to allow for proper manufacturer reporting (pipeline, forecasting, etc.)
- Develop a Territory Plan
- Create a list of Dealer Targets (Current and New)
- Create a list of End User Targets (Venues, Schools, Houses of Worship, etc.)
- Create a consistent monthly and quarterly travel plan
- Create trip plans in advance for review
- Training on manufacturer product lines
- Expenses and Demo Inventory Management
Preferred Background:
- Previous job history with an AV manufacturer, rep firm, systems integration or touring/rental company.
- 3 years in an outside sales role
- Certifications such as CTS (AVIXA), Audinate (Dante), JBL, AMX, BSS and other AV equipment certifications are helpful
