Job Summary : The Network Engineer plays a critical role in managing the network infrastructure of Visionary, ensuring high-quality internet services are delivered to customers. This role involves tasks such as network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, as well as staying updated with emerging technologies to enhance network performance. Key Responsibilities :
Design and plan network layouts, considering factors like scalability, redundancy, and security.
Configure and deploy network devices according to the approved design.
Perform regular maintenance tasks like firmware upgrades, patches, and security updates.
Diagnose and resolve network-related problems, including connectivity issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
Implement security measures to safeguard the network from cyber threats and attacks.
Assess network capacity and plan for upgrades or expansion as needed to meet growing demands.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including support, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
