Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with OSP Design Engineers, OSP Construction Managers and leadership to track and provide status updates to all team members as needed to keep project timelines on track.
- Responsible for submitting and obtaining permitting approvals for construction activities within DOT and municipal rights of way.
- Communicate project status to senior management and all stakeholders.
- Develop and strengthen relationships will all project stakeholders.
- Manage and track performance across schedule, budget and quality parameters.
- Track and report on project schedule, milestones and provide status reports on a weekly basis.
- Proactively identify potential risk factors, communicate these with all project partners and work with team members to address and resolve the risk.
- Attend weekly project status meetings to discuss projects, challenges and determine project schedules, budgets and forecasts.
- Perform due diligence of all permitting requirements that are associated to assigned projects.
- Responsible for the complete understanding of project scope and permitting requirements.
- Ensure timely closeout and delivery of all project schedules.
Desired Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Project Management or related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of functional teams, and strong interpersonal skills for supporting and advising sales teams on proper systems and process
- Strong attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work across functional boundaries
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with several variables in dynamic situations
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to view issues and concerns from multiple perspectives, and to keep the “big picture” in focus
- Ability to be flexible in work schedule and to meet strict deadlines under minimal supervision
- Ability to deal with complicated situations and find solutions
