What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Tester position at Visionary Innovative Technology Solutions LLC?
Technical skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering OR related degree and/or practical experience
- Hands on experience in test execution and building automation suits/framework using Java
- Experience working with Selenium, Cucumber automation frameworks to automate 3-tier application validations in a batch environment
- 2 years of experience working with Mainframe batch applications – JCL job execution, Control-M Batch scheduling, manual data validations, Cobol DB2 and Mainframe file-based application
- Experience with Distributed applications, Unix, Shell scripting and batch applications
- Proficient in data mining using SQL and creating test data based on production examples
- Experience working in high-volume applications to validate data accuracy, performance and scalability
- Proficient working with a geographically disperse team in a agile/scrum model
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines using Bamboo/Jenkins/GitHub Actions etc. and Source code repositories like Git, Bitbucket etc. is a plus
- Strong communication skills & domain knowledge:
- Ability to engage in synergetic application and platform wide testing exercises
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Enthusiastic relationship builder: ability to partner multi-functionally and work efficiently with different levels and functions within an organization.
- Experienced in working/leading Geographically dispersed team that operates across time zones
- Good understanding of Financial Services, trading, brokerage industry and regulatory documents is a plus
