Metal Building Erector

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metal Building Erector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction and assembly of metal structures, ensuring that all components are securely installed and meet safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work effectively with a team to complete projects on time.

Duties

• Assemble and erect metal building components, including walls, roofs, and structural frames.
• Utilize power tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and fastening materials.
• Fabricate metal parts according to specifications and blueprints.
• Ensure all work is plumb, level, and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods related to metal building erection.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Ability to weld using arch welder is preferred.
• Ability to cut metal using cutting torch is preferred.

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
