About Us: Visionary Landscaping is a trusted name in outdoor transformations, specializing in high-quality landscape and hardscape installations. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Hardscape & Landscape Foreman to lead a skilled crew in delivering exceptional outdoor spaces.
Job Summary: As a Hardscape & Landscape Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing landscape and hardscape installations while managing a team of 3–4 crew members. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality workmanship. You will also contribute to our snow and ice management operations during the winter months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a landscaping and hardscaping crew, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Install brick pavers, retaining walls, steps, patios, and other hardscape elements.
- Perform landscaping tasks, including planting trees and shrubs, laying sod, applying mulch, and installing decorative stone.
- Operate trucks, trailers, skid-steers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Train and mentor new crew members, fostering a strong team environment.
- Interpret and implement project blueprints, setting proper grades for walls and patios.
- Track and report time, materials, and project progress accurately.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and business.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a landscape or hardscape foreman.
- Proven experience with brick pavers, retaining walls, and grading techniques.
- Strong landscaping knowledge, including planting, sod installation, and ground cover applications.
- Ability to read and execute landscape and hardscape blueprints/plans.
- Proficiency in setting grades for patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Skilled in operating skid-steers, compactors, saws, and other equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including lifting, digging, and working in various weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
