- Encourage independence and self-advocacy while ensuring safety and well-being.
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and behavior intervention strategies.
- Accompany individuals on community outings, medical appointments, and social events.
- Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and medical professionals.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
