Overview:

Job Title: Program Manager

Work Location: Herndon, VA

Schedule: Full-Time

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Program Manager (PM), who will support various contracts. 

The Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison between Visionary Solutions and the customer, providing leadership, direction and support to all personnel assigned on contract. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing the quality and efficiency of the contract, including handling complex issues and making critical decisions on behalf of Visionary in regards to exceeding customer satisfaction.

• Provide overall leadership and guidance to personnel on contract, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and objectives.
• Supervise and manage the quality of the performance on contract, including task assignments, performance evaluations, and staffing vacancies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, communicating effectively and consistently to questions, concerns and comments, as well as proactively working with customer POCs to address potential contractual issues and how to resolve.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects effectively based on current business objectives and reevaluate and adjust priorities accordingly as business goals evolve.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and potential external partners to foster strategic partnerships for future collaboration.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and growth, including process optimization and consolidation of company priorities based on schedule, budget, and importance.   
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively, implementing effective risk management strategies to minimize potential impacts on company property, personnel and proprietary information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, leadership or a similar field.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in a leadership or managerial role overseeing multiple program staff, including direct labor, subcontractors, suppliers and customer personnel.
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Must be able to obtain or verify an active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and cultivate collaboration among team members.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30% (CONUS).

Physical Requirements:

The work is performed in an office environment and is primarily sedentary in nature. The individual will be required to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time and alternate between different stationary positions. The individual must also be able to move about the office at times. This position requires the ability to communicate frequently. This position may occasionally require the ability to ascend stairs, reach, stoop, kneel, lift light to medium objects, view and operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment and to withstand moderate noise and temperatures.

This position does require travel between various customer sites, in addition to travel for business conferences, customer meetings, and other government and/or contractual needs.
