ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THIS COMPOSITE TECHNICIAN JOB?
As a new Composite Technician at Visioneering, Inc., you can anticipate an engaging and hands-on experience in the Aerospace industry. Your day-to-day tasks will involve preparing, cutting, and assembling composite materials to create high-quality tools and/or parts. Including wet lay, resin infusions, and pre-preg lay ups. You'll follow detailed specifications and blueprints to ensure precision in every job.

Expect to operate specialized tools and machinery while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 4:45 PM, with an additional shift on Saturday from 6 AM to 12 PM. (Sundays as needed). This routine allows for a structured workweek, providing a consistent environment for skill development and collaboration with experienced team members. As you grow in this role, you will gain exposure to various aspects of the composite fabrication process, making every day an opportunity for learning and advancement in the Aerospace, Space, and Defense industry.

A basic understanding of composite materials (i.e. fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, BMI, etc.) properties will enhance your ability to select the right materials and processes for each job.

Furthermore, effective communication and teamwork skills are important, as you will collaborate with colleagues to meet goals and deadlines. A commitment to safety practices and quality assurance is also vital in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
