Visionist is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to deliver solutions across multiple high-priority projects. As an AWS ProServe Partner, we work closely with AWS to deliver mission-critical solutions. Our teams collaborate directly with clients to identify and solve capability gaps, playing a crucial role in modernizing infrastructure and implementing best practices. These opportunities can span from 3, 6, & 12-month duration which can fill employment gaps if you’re in-between contracts, or you move to another short-term contract, or join one of our prime/subcontracts.  Your options are endless.

Your contributions are… 
  - Develop, deploy and debug Terraform infrastructure
  - Build and deploy applications in AWS environments
  - Implement DevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  - Design and manage CI/CD pipelines
  - Work with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
  - Architect systems with AWS serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS)
  - Configure and manage Kubernetes environments
  - Develop and maintain Ansible automation tools
  - Migrate on-premises Kubernetes clusters/containerized applications to the cloud
  - Implement security policies and permission boundaries
  - Create technical documentation including user guides, SOPs, etc.
  - Manage IL4/IL5 cloud architecture requirements when applicable

 

Requirements for your new career…
  - 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering
  - Strong proficiency in Python (Java is a plus for some projects)
  - Experience with Linux administration
  - Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  - Experience with AWS services and deployment patterns
  - Experience with automation tools (Ansible, GitLab Pipelines)
  - Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Salary range: $115,000 - $170,000
