About the Team
Visions embedded teams work onsite supporting their client with a variety of services, including move management, event support, space and occupancy planning and more. Team members are uniquely positioned to work within their clients systems and processes, while delivering the excellent service and results that are emblematic of Visions. The employees who make up the Embedded vertical rise to meet the challenge of representing the excellence of Visions for their client.
About the Role
In the role of Space Planner, you will support clients with various space and workplace tasks related to occupancy, business needs and relocation. The role includes heavy interaction with business leads about space needs, utilization and challenges. The Space Planner wears many hats, data analyzer, problem solver, move manager, service provider, and more. On a daily basis, Space Planners rely on their ability to work visually with floor plans and drawings, to analyze and understand complex utilization data, and to communicate with clients, teammates, leadership, and partners. Successful candidates are able to navigate chaos and complexity calmly and with confidence.

Responsibilities -
Occupancy Planning
- Meet with business leads to understand space requirements
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to ensure that occupancy, furniture, space type and client data is accurate
- Prepare and present detailed options to clients
- Optimize space usage for efficiency and functionality
- Analyze space utilization data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with core program standards.
- Demonstrate proactive solutioning
- Recommend adjustments to processes
- Maintain a working knowledge of space management systems
Project Planning & Move Management
Receive and process client move requests
Participates in planning meetings hosted by the client and other key stakeholders
Establish move project goals and objectives, making changes where necessary to ensure desired project results
Develop and implement move plan and budget through collaboration with the facility manager, project manager and construction manager as required
Prepare / update move status reports
Monitor client and business for changes to move scope and / or requirements
Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
Incorporate Visions best practices into move projects
Initiate and hold move meetings to review schedules, move plan, and day one information
Act as the Visions representative and advocate for the client.

Requirements -
Minimum Five years of space planning, design, occupancy planning, or workplace in a corporate real estate environment
Background in design, architecture, workplace planning and strategy desired
Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Intermediate experience with
Qualifications / Skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and departments.
Advanced ability to read and understand building drawings and floor plans
Experience working with CAD or other drafting software
Experience with space planning software
