Patient Services Scheduler

Visiting Ancillary Services was founded in April 2010, as a 501(c) 3 Non-Profit Charity and we provide full-service programs to over 120 facilities. We deliver the finest outreach programs to residents, and we believe each resident should leave us with a smile and a happy demeanor.

We are looking for a Client Care Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be the liaison between the company(VAS), client facilities and our clinical teams. This position schedules dental visits within long-term care facilities and manages the dental service accounts. The ideal candidate needs to be extremely detailed-oriented.

Essential Functions :

• Ensures facility stays in compliance with new patient exams, recalls, dentures and hygiene services.
• Creates schedules by tracking treatment plans and recall dates.
• Responds to doctors, patients and facilities with regard to concerns and inquiries.
• Creates packets with insurance verification, schedules and other information for the billing process.
• Follow office procedures for patient referrals.
• Completes data entry into Denticon software.
• Coordinates with the dentists and their assistants for emergency issues.
• Sends out reminder calls / emails to patients.
• Reviews progress notes to ensure accuracy.
• Sends out weekly schedules to field staff.
• Answers incoming calls.
• Other duties as assigned.
