Description of the role
We are currently seeking an in-home caregiver to join our team at Visiting Angels. As an in-home caregiver, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to our clients in Senecaville Ohio, Cambridge Ohio and the surrounding areas. This is a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients within the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Providing medication reminders
- Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions and assisting with feeding if necessary
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transporting clients to appointments or social outings
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of car insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans
- Empathy and compassion for the elderly and individuals with disabilities
- Ability to pass background checks and screenings
