Visiting Angels, a leading provider of non-medical home care services, is seeking compassionate and dedicated non medical caregivers to join our team in the Weirton/Steubenville area.
Additional locations can include: Follansbee, Wellsburg, Mingo Junction, New Cumberland, Steubenville, etc.
As a non medical caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and assistance in their homes. This is an individual contributor role, where you will work closely with clients, and their families, to ensure their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands.
- Assist with personal care, such as bathing and grooming, if needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in care giving or similar role preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathically with clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
