What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Caregivers Needd position at Visiting Angels Jenkintown?
Visiting Angels of Horsham is currently searching for a Weekend Caregiver with Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Direct Care Staff certifications to work in and around the Horsham area. Our in-home caregiver team provides daily living assistance for seniors and other adults in the comfort of their homes.

Essential Functions:
- Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter free
- Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
- Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
- Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
- Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
- Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
A successful applicant will meet the following requirements:
- CNA, HHA, and DC Certification preferred
- At least 2 years of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
- A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
- Bilingual skills are preferred, but not required
- Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance preferred
- Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON Blood work or chest x-ray completed
- References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
