What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver - Southern MD- Part Time position at Visiting Angels - Largo/Prince George County?

We have positions located in Brandywine; Clinton, Temple Hills, Oxon Hill, Fort Washington, and surrounding areas for experienced CNA's with verifiable work experience assisting individuals in their homes. Must have experience with ADL's and IADL's in a professional environment. Patience, taking initiative, and dependability are a must. These positions are not near public transportation.
**IMMEDIATE NEED FOR WEEKEND SHIFTS
Responsibilities include:
- Transfer assist (bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to toilet, etc.);
- Feed assist, bed bath, shower, and toilet assist;
- Assist with appointments in the community; running errands;
- Meal preparations based on dietary requirements;
- Medication reminders at the appropriate time
- Companionship and social engagement

Requirements:
- Current Maryland CNA, CMT, or GNA license
- Negative TB/PPD/Chest x-ray
- Current Government-issued I.D.
- Social Security Card
- Current CPR
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
