Job Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and linen changing
- Lay out clothes and assist with dressing
- Prepare and plan meals
- Remind clients of medication
- Transport clients to appointments
- Support family members in learning safe care techniques
Requirements
- Treat clients with dignity and respect
- Interpret client-provided plans of care
- Hold a valid driver's license and transportation
- Be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Tolerate small pets (dogs and/or cats)
- Respond to phone calls and emails for shift schedules, updates, and emergencies
- Lift a minimum of 25 pounds
