Calling all retired teachers, preschool workers, homemakers, and family caregivers looking to make a difference. If you have been in an adult day care, worked with special needs, or have a caring heart, we would love to speak with you. We would love to talk with you if you have worked at a skilled nursing facility, assisted living community, or senior center. Some caregivers have certifications like Home Health Aide HHA, Certified Nursing Assistant CNA, or Personal Care Aid PCA. We offer on the job paid training, and there is no experience required.

Flexible and adaptable scheduling is at the heart of this role—our caregivers work varied hours as needed, with a minimum ongoing commitment of 6 hours weekly and 20 hours of general availability. This includes Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, and Overnight shifts!

• Standard pay: $17.25
• Visits 2-2.75 hours paid at a premium rate
• Extra weekends pay, $1.00/hr. increase on Saturday and $2.00/hr. increase on Sunday

Visiting Angels of Southwest Michigan is a family ran home care agency. We provide home care to elderly, seniors, and those with disabilities both physical and mental. We assist our clients with bathing, dressing, assistance with walking, medication reminders, perform errands & shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, friendly companionship, flexible hourly care and respite care for family members. We hire individuals who are compassionate caregivers, personal care assistants (PCA), home health aide (HHA), and/or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). We provide care in the cities of Plainwell, Kalamazoo, Richland, Battle Creek, Marshall, and most surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for caregivers in Kalamazoo, Richland, Portage, Augusta, Battle Creek, Marshall, Plainwell, Allegan, Wayland, Paw Paw, Mattawan, Vicksburg, and Schoolcraft.

• 
  VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE and proof of MI insured automobile
• Current MI car registration
• Positive attitude, great communication skills, and able to work independently
• Solid personal character with empathetic personality
• Able to read, write and converse in English
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours will be required.
• Legally able to work in the United States
• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to pass both criminal background checks and drug screening
