What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN (Per Diem) position at Visiting Angels of VA?
Visiting Angels in Staunton is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Augusta County & surrounding areas.
RN staff complete initial and quarterly follow-up nurse assessments to our non-medical home care clients - Veterans and Aging in Place Population.
Nurse Assessments include:
- Medical History
- Current Medical Concerns
- Medication List
- Care Plan Instructions for Angel Caregivers
- Home Safety Evaluation
Nurses are paid per assessment completed. Mileage is reimbursed.
Flex Hours - Nurses contact the client to arrange an appointment to complete the assessment. Assessments generally take 1-hour to complete.
Applicants must have current Virginia RN license, valid drivers license, as well as your own transportation. Also, must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Hospice / Geriatric nursing experience preferred.
