Weekend shifts play an essential role in our mission to support seniors. Family members and other services may not always be available on weekends, but you can be there when they need it most. Working weekends means you’ll help seniors maintain their independence, comfort, and dignity—and you’ll earn extra pay for doing it! Plus, enjoy an additional $1.50 per hour for weekend shifts.

Weekend shifts are varied, allowing you to choose the hours that fit your schedule while helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. This flexibility makes it easier than ever to work around your commitments while providing life-changing care.

As a Visiting Angels caregiver, you are the heart of what we do. Your role is pivotal in allowing seniors to live independently and comfortably in their homes. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Providing Compassionate Care: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility to help seniors maintain their routine.
• Specialized Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care: Offering comfort and safety to clients with unique needs.
• Monitoring Well-Being: Stay alert to health changes and promptly report concerns to ensure optimal care.
• Building Relationships: Provide emotional support and companionship to brighten their days.
• Light Housekeeping & Meal Prep: Ensure their living space is safe and tidy while preparing meals that support health and enjoyment.
• Following Personalized Care Plans: Tailor your care to meet each senior's needs, preferences, and routines.

Seniors need care every day of the week, but weekends can be particularly difficult for families who are unable to provide assistance. We need caregivers who are ready and eager to step up on weekends, providing essential care that ensures the comfort and happiness of the seniors who rely on us.
