Position Overview: As a Caregiver at Visiting Angels, you will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure their well-being and comfort. This includes helping with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and brief changes, as well as providing companionship and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide support for individuals with Dementia and Alzheimer's, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, report any changes to the care team
- Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with mobility as needed
- Foster positive relationships and provide emotional support for clients
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience or certification in caregiving
- Experience working with clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's is highly preferred
- Ability to assist with bathing, dressing, and other personal care tasks
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Must be available to work weekends
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check
