Description of the role:
Visiting Angels is a non-medical In-Home care agency seeking dedicated, caring, compassionate caregivers to join our team! As a leading provider of senior home care services, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to join our team! As a caregiver with Visiting Angels, you will provide personalized care, companionship, and support to help our clients live comfortably in their homes.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid California driver's license*MUST BE A CALIFORNIA DRIVERS LICENSE*
*******AN OUT-OF-STATE DRIVER'S LICENSE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE******* - A reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance where you must be listed as an insured driver
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and screening of your driving record
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) – if not registered, we’ll assist you with the process!
- Proof of negative TB test - we’ll pay for it if you need it!
- Physical ability to perform the duties required of the role
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Two professional, work-related references
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities (if required)
