What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Care Nurse (RN)- M-F 9-5pm position at Visiting Angels?
Are you ready for M-F 9-1 hours? We don't work much in the evening or weekend at Visiting Angels.
The most we'd request of you on evenings or weekends would be handled over the phone a few times a year.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Use Excel to manage a client schedule of recertifications and another useful spreadsheet
- Use Wellsky to document your client notes and care plans.
- Use Google Mail or Outlook to manage your communications
- Use faxing
- Visit clients in their homes around Virginia Beach for new client assessments and recertifications.
- Visit clients in the hospital or rehabilitation facility routinely
- Work with other departments to collaborate on time sensitive tasks.
- Teach Caregivers individually in class or on the phone. Teach class sizes of 3-50.
- Visit Educational Institutions as needed
- Correctly fill out contracts with clients
- Dress professionally in business clothes or nurse jacket with slacks and loafers.
- Routinely participate in staff photos
- Communicate via phone, text, email with our Director of Nursing in another office
- Manage your time and your fuel efficiently.
- Celebrate wins with your team
- Other duties as needed
