We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Support individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities by implementing tailored care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or group home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and patient monitoring practices is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating compassion and patience in all interactions.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
