Visiting Angels is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely, with dignity and independently in their homes.
Shifts are available in the mornings, afternoons and evenings- WEEKEND availability is required, however we also have weekday shifts. Most openings will be within the hours of 8am-7pm. Shift lengths can be as short as 1 hour and as long as 12 hours and anything in between- YOU tell us what YOUR availability is and we create your perfect schedule based on our clients' needs! Pick up as many clients as you'd like! MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving. Perfect for students (over 18 years old) and those who would like extra income for the holidays! Clients are located in Temple, Belton, Killeen, Cameron, Rockdale, Copperas Cove, Lampasas and MORE!

Caregiver Angel job duties include but are not limited to:
- Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
- Medication reminders
- Monitoring/safety supervision
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry, errands and shopping
- Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting upwards of 50lbs
- Supportive companionship
- Respond quickly in case of an emergency
- Transportation to and from appointments
Requirements:
- A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything
- Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive
- Good time management skills
- High integrity and strong ethics
- MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
- Be over 18 years old
- Successful completion of a Criminal History check
- 3 professional references
- Reliable transportation of your own
- Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
