At Home Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Provide ambulation support, bathroom assistance, hygiene care and redirections with encouragement and patience.
- Provide care for patients with advanced dementia
- Provide non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes
- Provide mobility assistance, such as walking and transfers
- Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders
- Monitor fluid intake and output
- Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks
- Monitor patients overnight, assisting with mobility challenges and transfers
Job Requirements:
- Must be within a commutable distance of the listed area
- Must be encouraging and patient in providing advanced dementia care
- Must be 21 years or older to apply
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
- Current CNA, NA, PCA, or HHA certification - a plus!
- Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check
