Visiting Angels is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely, with dignity and independently in their homes.
Right now, we are hiring Caregivers who have OPEN availability- Meaning you would be available to work anytime in between 7am-11pm on weekdays AND weekends. This is because shifts can be any length of time- 1 hour to 12 hours or anything in between- day or night! We coordinate with our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (McGregor, Moody, West, Clifton, Meridian, Whitney, Hillsboro and MORE) therefore, Caregivers MUST have reliable transportation of their own that they will be driving and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

Caregiver Angel job duties include but are not limited to:
- Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
- Medication reminders
- Monitoring/safety supervision
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry, errands and shopping
- Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting upwards of 50lbs
- Supportive companionship
- Respond quickly in case of an emergency
- Transportation to appointments
Requirements:
- A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything
- Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive
- Good time management skills
- High integrity and strong ethics
- MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
- Be over 18 years old
- Successful completion of a Criminal History check
- Professional references
- Reliable transportation of your own
- Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
- MUST be able to work at least one weekend day per month, if not more
