Hospice Nurse Practitioner, Per Diem weekdays, 128 South area:
Watertown, Newton, Dedham, Braintree, Quincy, Weymouth, Norwell
Position Summary: Provides consultation regarding palliative care services to patients in a community setting and works in a collaborative team practice that recognizes the patient as the central focus. Performs physical assessments and communicates with patients facing serious complex illnesses.
Education
- Masters of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Certification in area of specialty required.
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
- Current DEA and Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask and work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple demands.
