We are currently looking for a Family Support Worker to join our team. This position would be responsible for providing home visits that incorporate education, family support, preparation for employment and / or schooling, and networking with community resources
Responsibilities :
- Supports organizations mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
- Collaborates with Program Supervisor and families to establish a service case plan.
- Develops and maintain ongoing relationships with families
- Provides parenting support to promote healthy child development
- Prepares and maintains records according to program guidelines
- Cultivates a network with community agencies and resourcesthat may benefit families
- Collaborates with program staff to achieve program goals
- Adheres to the organizations policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Working Conditions / Physical Demand : Works indoors / outdoors with client / customer contact and with use of business office machines such as : telephone, computer, printer, copier, fax machine, email, and voicemail
