Position Overview:
Key Details
- Schedule: Work two (2) 12-hour weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM–8:30 PM).
- Compensation: Baylor RNs work 24 hours but are paid for 30 hours, including the expectation to complete documentation and follow-ups within 24–30 hours.
- Benefits: Enjoy the same benefits as full-time RNs, pro-rated for a 30-hour workweek.

Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the needs of patients with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses, developing appropriate care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, addressing their unique needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Monitor and document changes in patients' conditions and update care plans accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety policies, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Education: NJ RN license, BSN preferred
Experience: At least 1 year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Hospice Palliative Care Nursing or Critical Care.
Strong critical care skills.
Essential Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proficient computer skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors/outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; car and valid NJ Driver’s license
