Join Our Team as a Home Health/Hospice Aide
Location: Hanover and Spring Grove, Pennsylvania
Are you a compassionate, dedicated professional looking to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families? The VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove is seeking a Home Health/Hospice Aide to provide exceptional care to our patients in the comfort of their homes, nursing facilities, inpatient units, or other environments.
This position is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with weekend rotations.
About the Role:
As a Home Health/Hospice Aide, you will:
- Deliver personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping services.
- Support patients' independence and comfort during their journey.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
- Maintain timely documentation and uphold high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care activities, such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
- Provide a safe environment using proper equipment and practices.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the care team.
- Support emotional and physical needs of patients and families.
- Contribute to the efficiency and professionalism of our services.

Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of two [2] years experience in patient care preferred
- Ability to understand and carry out directions and instructions and maintain appropriate records
- Current CPR or First Aid certification
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Reliable independent means of transportation with a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and at least the minimum state-required vehicle insurance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Adequate sensory abilities for patient care and communication.
