Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to the care plan as instructed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including making beds, laundry, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist clients with their daily living activities as required.
- Note that the scope of duties may evolve and is not exhaustive.
- Strong communication and listening abilities.
- A compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor.
- Capability to follow care plans and directives.
- Basic proficiency in math for managing care-related tasks.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in personal caregiving, either in a private home or facility setting.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance, as well as have reliable transportation.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to successfully pass background checks and drug tests.
- Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Candidates must have a working telephone and voicemail.
