Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of patient symptoms and monitor treatment responses
- Educate patients and their caregivers on care processes, medication management, and health maintenance
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including IV and injectable medications
- Provide wound care and ostomy management services
- Communicate any changes in patient health status to the attending physician
- Proficient in assessing symptoms and responses to treatment
- Knowledgeable in administering IV and injectable medications
- Competent in wound management and ostomy care
- Strong communication skills for effective patient and caregiver education
- Ability to restore patient independence and report health changes accurately
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri
