Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient symptoms and monitor responses to treatment
- Educate patients and their caregivers on self-care techniques
- Address inquiries regarding medications, dietary needs, disease processes, and activity levels
- Administer intravenous and injectable medications, as well as prescribed treatments
- Provide wound care, ostomy management, and promote patient independence
- Relay changes in patient health status to the attending physician
- Proficient in assessing medical symptoms and treatment responses
- Strong communication abilities for patient and caregiver education
- Expertise in administering IV and injectable therapies
- Competence in wound and ostomy care management
- Ability to effectively communicate health changes to medical professionals
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Capable of reading, writing, performing basic mathematics, and following instructions
- At least one year of experience in home health or nursing, along with a valid Missouri nursing license
- Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance are required
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- Must not be listed on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL)
- Completion of a full application, including at least two credible business references with contact information
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
