Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the VNA In Home team.

ABOUT VNA In Home: The In Home program provides services to keep patients living independently in their homes, despite a decrease in ability. Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri is a non-profit organization.
TYPE OF WORK INVOLVED: Assist with maintenance healthcare such as pre-filling medications and monthly injections. Provide monthly nail care for diabetics and patients who take anticoagulant medications. Monthly skin monitoring for at risk patients. Review medication profiles and assure medication is accurate.
TRAINING: VNA provides a 30-day preceptor/orientation training for new hires. This will allow an opportunity for you to shadow our In Home Team Members for hands-on training. It will also allow time for our Team Members to ride with you, allowing you to ask questions while making patient visits. Computer training will cover the use of the handheld used to make patient visits.
Position Requirements
Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri
Experience: At least one year of experience in a healthcare institution functioning in the role of an L.P.N.
