About the Position:
A Hospice registered nurse (RN) provides compassionate care to patients who are terminally ill. The main goal is to help patients feel comfortable and dignified during the final stages of their life. Hospice Nurses treat patients with complex care needs, at the end of life, and depend on their Nurse Case Manager to provide symptom relief, follows care plans and provides education on end-of-life care. Hospice RN’s, also, provide emotional support to the patients and their families.
Must have qualifications:
- A valid Georgia RN License
- 3 years of RN experience in a Hospice, Medical-surgical, ICU, ER or Oncology environment
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Wound Care skills
- Reliable transportation and valid auto Insurance
