LPN - Home Health in the College Park / East Point area. $38.50 per hour. Seeing 7 patients per day.
Full Time - Days Monday-Friday with weekend rotation
POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic skilled nursing care, patient education, and clinical nursing observations and documentation for home health patients. Must have strong assessment skills, timely documentation habits, wound care experience and experience with blood draws, IV certification preferred.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accredited LPN program with High School diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure / Certifications : Must have current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing and valid CPR certification. Successful completion of an IV Training program or certification in IV therapy strongly preferred. Experience in Advanced Wound Therapies preferred.
Previous Experience : Previous experience in a Medicare certified home health agency is strongly preferred. Candidates with high tech skills and prior success working in a team environment is strongly desired.
Knowledge / Training : Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other funding source regulations as applied to home health care services.
Computer Skills : Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop or laptop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
Transportation : Must have valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation
