In this position, you will
Provide direct care, patient education and the management of the occupational therapy called for in the patient's treatment plan. Consults with and educates other care team members concerning applicable patient assessment and treatment protocols serves as a rehabilitation resource for the care team.
What you'll be doing
As the Occupational Therapist, you will provide evaluations, resumption of care, discharge and direct care to Home Health patients who have physician orders for therapy services
Do you have
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
current Occupational therapy licensure by the Georgia State Board
valid CPR certification
current valid Driver's license.
1-2 years experience with geriatric patients
Home Health experience preferred.
Knowledge and Training : A professional knowledge of the theories, principles, practices and techniques inherent to the scope of practice. Communication skills to interact effectively with patient, family, care team members, referrals and community resources. Knowledge of accrediting bodies standards, Medicare, Medicaid and other funding source regulations as applied to home care services. Demonstrates competent techniques and practices of their profession.
