Some Job Responsibilities:
The Education Clinical Manager is responsible for the educational needs of the agency. This includes overseeing and providing staff orientation, scheduling, and performing in-services for agency staff, keeping staff informed and updated regarding changes appropriate to their practice.
- Identifies and prioritizes educational needs of clinical staff.
- Adherence to infection control practices and all agency policies and procedures.
- Provides attendance records to the Performance Improvement Administrative Assistant of all staff development classes/in-services within the agency from all departments and reports same to Human Resources.
- Maintains professional resource library: texts, journals, videos, and magazines.
- Coordinates the reviewing/ updating of the Home Health Nursing Procedure Manual as needed.
- Oversees the Agencies orientation program.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Operations in planning and coordinating the Performance Improvement/Educational projects for the clinical staff.
- Maintains super-user status for clinical applications, documentation, and use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Services in the management of the Infection Control Plan.
- Oversees all Medline’s supplies ordering and management in conjunction with WOCN and serves as liaison for Medline.
