Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, however, Master’s degree in nursing or adult education preferred, clinical specialist certification preferred

The following are other duties and responsibilities that a Clinical Director should be able to execute:
- Responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for grievance and due process, duty hours, selection, evaluation and promotion of residents, disciplinary action and supervision of residents
- Lead clinical responsibility for design, execution, and evaluation of the structure, content, curricula and evaluation for the clinical residency program
- Design and implement business strategies to assist the agency to realize business goals
- Plan and manage the program’s budget, KPI and metrics
- Ensure high-quality resident program outcomes, develop policies, and maintain accurate records to measure the program’s effectiveness
- Oversee the department’s compliance with legal policies, guidelines and standards meeting all regulatory healthcare compliance requirements. Ensure all medical records and other documentation are current and within state and federal laws
- Evaluate each program candidate and accept only sufficiently skilled and qualified residents.
- Organize and run all program administrative operations.
- Provide feedback on performance while encouraging and motivating residents to remain dedicated and on track to reach professional goals,
- Commitment to training the next generation of health professionals,
- Be creative, dynamic and mindful of how to expand the clinical residency program while continuing to connect with pertinent technology and acting as a trainer for residents.
- Engaged in clinical practice, teaching, plus the research and development aspects of the clinical program.
- This position will play a leadership role in developing, establishing the research agenda for the programs, advocating for program expansion, and ensuring that the rigor and quality of the program is promoted and achieved while fostering external relationships with nursing schools, universities, community organizations, etc.
- Defines specific objectives and achievement dates for the clinical residency program.
- Develops curriculum and creates evaluation measures for all aspects of clinical residency program.
- Responsible for management and evaluation of Clinical Residency Preceptor, if applicable
- Meets with Clinical Residents daily/scheduled frequency for purposes of feedback and planning
- Collaborates with CEO, Administrator and Clinical Managers regarding cases and caseload for clinical residents. Assists President/CEO in assigned duties as needed.
- Evaluates the clinical competencies of graduate nurse residents, coordinates competency evaluation for other clinical disciplines
- Participates in incumbent training as indicated
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, however, Master’s degree in nursing or adult education preferred, clinical specialist certification preferred
- Minimum FIVE (5) years of experience in a Certified Home Health Agency in a nursing role which involved clinical instruction, precepting, management and/or supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of teaching methods and leverage technology for the benefit of the program.
- Experience with Clinical Program Development.
- Must possess content knowledge and technical skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates understanding of the mission, goals and objectives of the program and the agency and incorporates them into all aspects of the program.
- Ability to collect, analyze and report program data.
