We are a fast-growing home healthcare agency that truly cares about our patients and their families. Our team of clinicians serves the Tewksbury area, and we are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes, focusing on exercises and activities that promote independence and mobility
- Monitor patients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities safely and effectively
Requirements:
- A valid MA Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license is required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a PTA in a home healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on building trust and rapport with patients and their families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
