Field Service Technician

IntroductionVisium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Field Service Technician position. This position is a direct hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Cocoa, Florida 32926.The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while installing, servicing, and piloting equipment.Responsibilities : Provide exceptional customer service, representing professionally and building positive relationships with customers.  Travel domestically to customers' locations to commission new equipment, perform maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure top product performance  Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job  Manage onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and tasks.  Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, recommend whether to repair the product and / or replace parts  Follow all safety protocols and properly use all safety equipment (PPE)  Set up and test equipment at factory headquarters  Conduct pilot tests at customer's site and maintain pilot units.  Communicate with customers, contractors, manufacturer's representatives, and maintenance personnel  Follow all company's procedures and protocols  Work closely and collegially with other departments, including Sales, Project Management, Quality, Engineering & Operations.  Assist with Production and other Operations tasks as necessary Qualified candidates would have the following : Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.  Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment  Basic understanding of electricity and computer operation  Some experience in working with electrical motors, electromechanical components, and PLC  Ability to work flexible shifts, and to adapt to changing work schedules  Read and understand work orders, shop instructions, specifications and procedures manuals, and posted safety instructions  Field Service experience a plus  Technical degree or certification a plus  Up to 80% TravelRequirements :  High School Diploma or equivalent or six to twelve months related experience and / or training  Vocational School Certificate a plus  Valid Driver's License in good standing ________________________________________________________________________________________________Visium Resources is an award-winning employment firm with a mission to match talented individuals with highly successful organizations.
